Excavator Hammers
All Indeco hammers have a special intelligent hydraulic system, enabling them to automatically vary the energy and frequency of the blows according to the hardness of the material being demolished. This optimizes the hydraulic pressure delivered by the machine, improving productivity and enhancing overall performance.
Exclusive features such as the synchronized internal distributor aligned with the piston, oil cushions for vibration dampening, and the short hydraulic flow pattern make it possible to eliminate seals in the distribution area, a decisive factor in extending the hammer’s working life and significantly reducing downtimes.
The use of special low-alloy steels, manufactured exclusively to Indeco’s formula, greatly extends the working life of major hammer components. The housing is made of extra-strength HARDOX® steel wear plates, which prevent buckling. The piston is divided into two parts, providing greater impact energy and reducing operating costs.
The centralized greasing system keeps sliding parts lubricated, even when the hammer operates horizontally, which reduces component wear and extends product life. The “quick-change” interchangeable bushing is available in various materials for different jobs and is inserted into the lower tool bushing. This design reduces maintenance times and costs by eliminating long machine downtimes needed for traditional fixed bushing replacements.
All carriers with Indeco hammers benefit from the dual shock-absorption system: an internal hydraulic one and an external mechanical one. These substantially reduce vibrations transmitted to the excavator, and lower stress on the excavator boom as Indeco hammers are lighter under working conditions than competitors in the same class.
Alongside the standard versions, there is also a super-soundproofed Whisper version. This version has an internally sound-absorbent lining and anti-rumble paint, which, combined with a modified bushing, considerably reduces noise emission levels. The rechargeable hydraulic/nitrogen accumulator also reduces stress on the excavator hydraulic circuit by lowering pressure peaks. It maintains consistent gas charge and energy per blow, reducing maintenance and operating costs.
