SWA540 Boom Mower for Skidsteer

SWA540 Boom Mower for Skidsteer allows you to easily maintain roadside and fence line grass and brush. The SWA540 is designed to work with skidsteers with a minimum carrier weight of 4,500 lbs. With a 6 foot reach, the curved single arm boom gives you easy access hard to reach grass. This ditch mower has a full 48” wide mowing head and features our 200 series flail teeth. When it’s time to move on to the next project, the boom conveniently folds up for travel.

 SWA550 Boom Mower for Skidsteer allows you to easily access hard to reach grass and brush. With a 7 foot reach, the curved single arm boom is ideal for maintaining your ditches, roadside and fence lines. The SWA550 is designed to work with skidsteers with a minimum carrier weight of 5,000 lbs. This ditch mower has a full 60” wide mowing head and features our 200 series flail teeth. The head is supported by a durable solid flat-free tire that creates a floating deck, relieving the weight off the skidsteer. When it’s time to move on to the next project, the boom conveniently folds up for travel.

SWA560 Boom Mower is a convenient skidsteer attachment that makes mowing ditches, roadsides and fence lines easier than ever. The SWA560 ditch mower is designed to work with skidsteers with a minimum carrier weight of 5,500 lbs. We offer several motor options that allow the SWA560 to mow unwanted brush up to 2” in diameter depending on your skidsteer’s GPM. With an impressive 10 foot reach, the curved single arm boom gives you easy access hard to reach grass. This ditch mower has a full 60” wide mowing head and features our 200 series flail teeth. When it’s time to move on to the next project, the boom conveniently folds up for travel.

SWF560 Boom Mower for Skidsteers is a must have attachment for mowing grass and long brush in your ditches, roadsides and fence lines. The SWF560 ditch mower has a 10 ft. reach and the boom and stick design allows the user full control of the desired mowing angle. Designed to work with skidsteers with a minimum carrier weight of 6,000 lbs., the SWF560 is available with several motor options. Make short work of unwanted brush up to 2” in diameter depending on your skidsteer’s GPM. This ditch mower has a full 48” wide mowing head and features our 200 series flail teeth. The head is supported by a durable solid flat-free tire and steel floating deck roller, relieving the weight off the skidsteer. SWF580 Boom Mower is a heavy duty ditch mower for Skidsteers. You can now safely mow the grass and long brush in your ditches, roadsides and fence lines. The SWF580 ditch mower has an impressive 14 ft. reach and the boom and stick design that allows the user full control of the desired mowing angle. This model is designed to work with skidsteers with a minimum carrier weight of 8,000 lbs. and is available with several motor options. This ditch mower has a full 48” wide mowing head and features our 200 series flail teeth. The deck height is fully adjustable and the head can cut brush up to 2” in diameter depending on your skidsteer’s GPM. When it’s time to move on to the next project, the boom and stick arm conveniently folds up for safe travel.

WIRING HARNESS

All SWF Boom Mower models are available with 4 control options. The various control options are dependent on your skidsteer’s available live wires in the AUX plug and whether you want to use your skidsteer’s joystick controls or our supplied control box. Here are the 4 available options.

OPTION #1 - JOY STICK CONTROL WITH 6 LIVE PINS

The ideal solution, the operator can easily control all 3 functions (stick, tilt & boom) of the Boom Mower using your skidsteer’s joy stick buttons. Requires 6 live pins in a 14-pin plug and 6 button joy stick controls.

OPTION #2 - JOY STICK CONTROL WITH 4 LIVE PINS

Another option to still use your built in joy stick controls, but if you only have 4 live auxiliary pins. The boom is operated with 2 buttons, your toggle switch on the joy stick will toggle between stick control and tilt control. Requires 4 live pins in a 14-pin plug.

OPTION #3 - CONTROL BOX WITH 6 LIVE PINS

Another option for controlling the Boom Mower is using our auxiliary control box. This control box uses 12V power, connects into the Boom Mower’ using 6 live pins in a 14-pin plug and sits on the operator’s lap. This is a 4 button control that controls all 3 functions (stick, tilt & boom) of the Boom Mower using one hand. Requires 6 live auxiliary pins.

OPTION #4 - CONTROL BOX WITH 4 LIVE PINS

You can also use our auxiliary control box with 4 live pins. The control box uses 12V power, connects into the Boom Mower using 4 live pins in a 14-pin plug and sits on the operator’s lap. This control box is a 3 button, however the operator must use both hands to operate since one button will toggle between stick and lilt controls.
